[ILUG-Cochin.org] ilug.in and ilug.org.in For SALE

This is what I hate in this group.

I was a silent listener for a long time now. I continued in this group even
after many of my friends left from this group. It is too much for me to
tolerate. You all are too mad about the philosophy and not about the
technology.

The initial post was about the domain names for sale and now after a couple
of replies you started your most favorite fight - "Linux Vs Libre".

For "Linux" lovers, the list is not just linux ILUG stands for. It is like a
wing of FSF.
For "Libre" lovers, AFAIK, it means "free". Neither "freedom" nor "free
software". And it is Spanish. Not English. So ILUG becomes "Indian Free
Users Group" . And what that means? It's better if you change the name to
fsf-cochin or something like that.

But for me "ilug" works because when I say/hear "Linux" I mean GNU, Linux
and whole FSF stuff (Even though some linux distros now are not 100% free).

So, why cant you guys and gals stop worrying about the name and discuss
something useful? I didn't mean that you never ever discussed anything
useful here. But for me, I didnt learn anything from this group. But I learn
a lot from linux at yahoogroups.com. They discuss everything. Not just "Linux".

And now, I QUIT!
