[ILUG-Cochin.org] Graphics in console

Anybody tried to view image files and movies in console (tty)?

I'm able to view it using caca libraries. The following is the command.
$cacaview abc.jpg

It is working but the image is not displayed properly. Please see the
attachment.

Also I have tried to play movies in the console using the following command.
$mplayer -vo caca abc.flv

This also has the same problem. Is there anything I have to configure in
caca to display the image properly?
Any Ideas?
