Agenda :
----------------
- Campaign to promote Free Software in Kerala :-
Bringing schools and Colleges closer to Free Software Community
Free Software has gained much attention among the people of Kerala
especially among the school students. Students learn Free Software because
it is part of their syllabus. But they may not be aware of the principles
behind the Free Software and they may not know the Free Software Community
who are dedicated to protect the Freedom of a
computer user.
In the case of colleges, Free Software has not got much attention. When
the students start thinking of doing their academic projects
they are not getting Freedom to choose FOSS platform to do their
project.
All these are because of the wide gap between the campuses and the Free
Software Community. So we the Free Software Community should
start a campaign to bring schools and colleges closer to the Community.
Technical Presentation:

- GNU/Linux installation and troubleshooting
This session will demonstrate the installation of GNU/Linux and will
discuss the various troubles you may face during the installation. We have
already had a discussion on IRC about bringing hardware
vendors closer to Free Software. So this session will help the people who
are working in Computer Hardware field to install GNU/Linux fearlessly in
PCs which they are selling.
There will be a Q/A session.
We look forward to your participation for this exciting meeting.
Hoping to meet you all on Sunday
Thank You
