Thank you, the book was a good addition to my materials. I had heard about
it. But did not know it was free to download and distribute.

I am going through the materials. Also my friend Althaf here pointed out
that its already supported in the linux kernel and one can get the source
just by studying that.


I think i did not make my position clear. I cannot say i am a newbie to
linux. According to the linux user's evolution (that I got through this
mailing list itself), I would say i had a religious experience and am moving
on to stage 6 day by day. I have a basic idea about linux and package
installation and everything. But when it comes to system programming and
device drivers, i haven't been to such a level. But I should say i am
confident i can do something with this project and work on linux more and
more.
