[ILUG-Cochin.org] i need to play vedio and audio on ubuntu7.04

when i click on the mp3 files movie file will invke but i could not able to play the music..
¨The required software to play this file is not installed. You need to install suitable codecs to play media files¨ - this message is shown....

so i download smplayer_0.6.6_i386 but when i try to install the software it is showing tht ¨Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libqt4-core

wht should i do to overcome things
