I use it regularly to talk, even a while ago I was talking. It is not
available in etch backports. I recommend you upgrade to lenny (about
to be released). I use sid and occasionally packages from
experimental. You will be able to get DVDs from Zyxware in Trivandrum
or I'm sure someone in Kochi would already have it.
