Greetings GNUers,

Fine with the previous philosophical articles on GNU/Linux. Now, for
those who wants to enjoy the practical side of GNU/Linux as well, take a
look at these sites. They make S/W installation on G/Lx much easier. Most
of the popular desktop oriented distros are supported. Only thing, the
installer has to be setup at first, which is also well explained on the
sites. After the installer setting up is done, life won't be much the
same for those who want to try out new S/W now and then.

Freespire, Ubuntu & Mint as of for now.

http://www.tuxsoftware.com , which uses the Mint distro's S/W installer.
Supports Debian, Ubuntu, Mint & more.
